Job Title: Lead Pilates Instructor / Studio Coordinator
Location: Canvey Island
Salary: £12,000 p/a basic salary + Uncapped Performance Bonuses & Profit Share
Hours: 14 hours per week (9 teaching hours across approx. 12 classes / 5 admin hours)

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and growth-minded Lead Pilates Instructor / Studio Coordinator to join our team. This hybrid role combines high-quality instruction with studio administration and growth strategy. You will lead by example on the studio floor, teach structured classes, and play a pivotal role in expanding our membership, optimizing the timetable, and driving studio revenue.

Key Responsibilities
Class Instruction & Quality Assurance
Teach approximately 12 structured classes per week (9 hours total), ideally delivering a diverse mix of Reformer, Tower, Barre, Jumpboard, and Yoga.
Cover classes for team members where necessary to ensure seamless operations.
Attend other instructors' classes to monitor performance, support the team, and maintain excellent studio-wide teaching standards.

Studio Administration & Growth
Dedicate 5 hours per week to administration, outreach, and local collaborations.
Proactively drive studio growth, increase memberships, and expand the current timetable.
Monitor class attendance figures closely and strategically adjust the timetable to maximize capacity.
Lead and manage the instructor team, providing guidance and fostering a supportive studio culture.

Marketing, Events & Innovation
Manage social media channels to drive engagement, promote classes, and build community.
Organize studio events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
Build local collaborations and introduce new innovations to keep the studio ahead of market trends.
Consistently meet and exceed business KPIs.
Perform regular equipment and safety checks to maintain a premium environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications
Qualifications
Required: Certified Pilates and Reformer Instructor qualifications.
Highly Desirable: Additional certifications in Barre, Tower / Half Cadillac, Jumpboard, and Yoga.

Experience
Proven track record in studio growth and driving revenue.
Demonstrated experience in leading a team and managing studio dynamics.
Extensive experience teaching highly structured, authentic Pilates classes.
